Dr. Meghan Miller, LP

Co-Founder and Chief Clinical Officer

Meghan Miller, PsyD, LP is a clinical psychologist and Well-Being and Culture leader in the healthcare industry. Dr. Miller graduated from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology in 2011 with a degree in Clinical Psychology and an emphasis in Child and Family therapy. Dr. Miller’s passion for systemic, population based change was a prominent interest during her education and specifically in her dissertation that included developing a group therapy treatment manual aimed at improving academic performance of African-American males through racial identity development. Dr. Miller, throughout her education and with every position she has held, continues to be motivated through work that can reach large groups of people in need. As a full-time psychologist, Dr. Miller served the community in community mental health centers, chemical dependency residential care organizations, and adolescent residential care facilities. In her tenure as a clinical psychologist she has worked with patients across the lifespan confronting a variety of mental health needs by providing therapy services and psychological assessments. 

In leadership, Dr. Miller has held positions including lead psychologist, Training Director and Clinical Director for one of the largest mental health and addiction service lines in the state of Minnesota. As a notable leader in the healthcare industry, she led a team of over 130 mental health professionals and clinical leaders on initiatives such as increasing mental health access, developing triage services for new patients, expanding specialty services and developing a healthy and connected workplace culture. As a leader, Dr. Miller prioritized patient care while also working to have systems in place to protect providers from burnout and connecting them with their larger collegial network. Dr. Miller aimed to disrupt the status quo by expanding new and innovative services, creating partnerships and deeply integrating mental health services across the organization. 

Mostly recently, Dr. Miller expanded her leadership reach into culture and well-being.  Her current role positions her to find additional ways to improve the employee experience through initiatives geared towards leadership development, promoting a stigma free culture, building psychological safety, and continuing to measure and track progress with employee’s overall well-being.

Prior to her career as a psychologist and psychologist leader, Dr. Miller coached gymnastics for over 10 years. Working with kids of all ages, Dr. Miller enjoyed watching young children develop their gymnastics skills and grow to love the sport. As a preschool, school age and high school coach, she has had experience with coaching and sports culture at various developmental levels which positions her well to fuse her clinical expertise with coaching experience for optimal outcomes. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, cooking, attending Minnesota Loons soccer games, and watching her kids develop in their own sports.
